Camp Blood 1.2: what to prepare now

Camp Blood 1.2 previews Ruby Lake Survival and level-100 Responder Retirement. Prepare a veteran and a replacement, practise speaker defense, and check your squad issue separately: the new squad system has its own unconfirmed release window. As checked October 19, the official post is a preview with no exact launch date.

What changes for your next run

  • Ruby Lake is a Survival map set in a New Jersey campsite. The preview shows Troop Cabins, Ranger Station and Camp Pavilion.S1

  • Responders become eligible to retire at level 100. Retirement feeds a separate Distinguished Service track with 20 levels planned at 1.2 launch and two additional loadout slots among its unlocks.S1

  • Experimental subtitles initially cover CRC dialogue; separate left/right stick deadzone settings and a change removing the out-of-stamina firearm damage penalty are previewed for 1.2.S1

  • A replacement squad system is being prepared. The developers will announce its release window separately; the preview does not promise that Camp Blood will resolve every invitation failure.S1

Ruby Lake: what to practise before the new map

Start with Survival coordination: agree who handles the speaker, who calls supplies and when the team regroups between fights. These are preparation suggestions, not a Ruby Lake route. The three pictured areas help you recognise the campsite setting; their order in the article is not a confirmed wave order or traversal path.

  • Ranger Station: the preview labels the ranger facility.
  • Camp Pavilion: the preview labels the pavilion area.

Retirement: prepare the roster before chasing rewards

Keep a level-100 candidate alive and leave another Responder ready for the role you play with friends. The official screenshots publish a preview XP breakdown, so you can compare level, medals, Expert skills and Beacon history in the retirement guide. This gives you a preparation target without assuming every veteran should be retired immediately.

Friends, controls and combat: what changes your next check

For invitation failures, keep the current troubleshooting steps and record platform, version, connection type and invite sequence for support. For controls, compare one stick’s deadzone at a time when the settings ship. For subtitles, expect CRC mission dialogue coverage rather than every spoken variation. For firearms, recheck the stamina interaction after the released patch instead of planning today’s fights around a future change.
